For us, Japri began with a simple need — to bring comfort back into a daily cup.
We met countless people saying, “Milk doesn’t suit me anymore.” From bloating to skin issues, many had to let go of their favourite chai or coffee because they had become lactose intolerant. It made us realize how much people were adjusting their habits out of discomfort, not choice.
It also reminded us of the old days when many families didn’t always rely on cow’s milk. Whenever it wasn’t easily available, people in our homes and neighbourhoods would simply grate fresh coconut, extract its milk and make their coffee or tea. It was natural, wholesome and a simple part of everyday life until convenience slowly replaced that tradition.
So we returned to that inspiration. Coconut milk — creamy, nourishing and beautifully balanced became our answer. After months of trying, tasting and perfecting, Japri took shape as India’s first coconut milk based tea and coffee premix.
Because a cup of tea or coffee is more than a beverage- it’s comfort, care and a quiet moment for yourself!
